Mike’s Mellow Moment – 21 February 2016

It’s been another week of great chat, bargains, discussions, weather, jokes and news here and on our fabulous gang – the Mike Powell Listeners’ Group on Facebook. Thanks for everyone who belongs there and here, be it to contribute or simply just to pop in from time to time to see what’s going on.

Being half term there were lots of shifts going up in the Big Smoke so I’ve been there a lot this week, apart from a glorious trip in sparkling winter sunshine down the “Cornish Riveria” through Exeter, Dawlish and Plymouth for the day! It’s nice to get out and explore when we can, but it’s also important we take time to recharge the batteries when we can.

Talking of exploring, this week’s Mellow Moments visits ruins in Greece as a magnificent full moon ascends over the stunning scene. It coincides with Monday’s full moon here in the UK which according to astrologers heightens everyone’s feelings. So the good news as we go into this last week of February is that whatever’s getting you down this weekend could – and hopefully will – soon be gone.

So close your eyes, let the music drift over you and focus on Springtime, just around the corner and full of hope, possibility and new life. Enjoy the chill out and thanks for being part of something special. x
