Most mornings this week my alarm has gone off at 0300 and I’ve headed to work at a time when the majority of people are still in the arms of Morpheus. It’s at times like this, when the morning star Venus twinkles from the heavens and the peace of a million stars glitter in an inky blackness, that you can feel the enormity of this existence that we’re apart of.
As people dream a thousand dreams and night workers toll to keep the lights on, the sick nurtured and offices cleaned, it’s possible to feel the connectivity of each and every one of us. Those that have gone before us, those still to come and those strangers, colleagues or friends that we interact with on a daily basis. In the silence of these times it slowly dawns on you…I chose to come here at this time, in this place, and with all of my fellow explorers on this planet we call home.
As the sun starts to rise, so do people and another day of achievements, challenges and triumphs begins. As it does, listen out for the signs, watch out for the synchronicities. For only together do we find our life’s purpose….
