Something in the air? Part 1

01 Jan 2019

Will flying on an aircraft ever be the same again?

It’s taken months but at last, In my 1 hour investigation on BBC World Service and Radio 4 this New Year’s Day hears the whistleblowing pilots and cabin crew who allege that sometimes things happen onboard that not only make people ill, but maybe contribute to premature deaths…

As hundreds of secret legal cases go through the courts, campaigners and politicians demand action; while airlines and regulatory bodies say they’re tackling any problems.

We’ll also discover the game changing solutions which could transform the aviation industry.

I realise you were probably partying but if you missed it, here’s the podcast (below`) and there are also 4 half hour versions airing on the BBC World Service at 1530/1700/1930 and 2230 GMT 01 January 2019 plus a 7 minute version on Radio 4’s You & Yours on Thursday 03 January 2019 – thanks and happy new year 🙂

  1. Thank you for the information.
May everything go well with this very thought-provoking
World Service Report. Best wishes for 2019.

  2. Excellent Report – Well Done
The Fume Event documentary is very disconcerting!.
Further investigations are needed. Nothing will improve
If these issues are swept under the carpet.
